Let me introduce myself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Angela Hamilton, but everyone calls me Paige. I hope you will too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have arrived at my author website. I hope you will stay and look around. There’s lots to see here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check out the Meet Angela<\/strong> section, where you can read more about me and my life, including why I go by the name Paige in my day-to-day life but use the name Angela whenever I write. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The My Book<\/strong> section has information on books I have written as well as a bit about some of my current writing projects. You’ll also find links to purchase my books. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Blog<\/strong> section speaks for itself. That’s where you will find blog posts, most of which are just my random thoughts about whatever topic might have crossed my mind. A lot of it is faith-based writing, but not all — and the ones that are spiritual in topic are mostly me just working out my faith. Sometimes I’m working it out with fear and trembling, but other times it more with grumpiness and irritability. (It’s the perimenopause, or that’s my reasoning anyway.)<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d like to tell you that I post regularly on my blog. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d like to tell that it’s a goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Again, it’s not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It used to be a goal. But then I came to the realization that in this season of my life, writing comes second<\/em> to a lot of other things — <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • My relationships<\/strong> with my husband, my five young adult children, my two grandchildren, and my mother. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • My job<\/strong> as an upper elementary ELA teacher. My job is important to me. It also keeps me very busy teaching grammar & writing all day long, so writing is not always how I want to unwind at the end of the day. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perimenopause<\/strong>. The perimenopausal mind is a force to be reckoned with — and if you haven’t gotten there yet, just hold your horses because it will turn you inside out and upside down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The result of all that is that I blog when I blog<\/em><\/strong>. All I can tell you is that at my age, I’m just not feeling guilty over my very random blogging tendencies anymore. I’ve been blogging for over 20 years and I haven’t stopped yet. If you haven’t heard from me in a few weeks or months, don’t worry. Eventually, I’ll get back to blogging. Promise!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
